What’s your story?
Take a moment to jot down how you feel and what you need most in terms of support. For example, you may want to write about some of or all the following:
- How does the person’s mental illness affect you?
- What are you fears, both for yourself and the person you are caring for?
- What support do you need most at this stage?
- How can others help you?
Write down your thoughts so that you can refer to them later.
